Circumnavigating Ibiza
In 2016, I paddleboarded around Ibiza with three others.

Ibiza is best known for its parties that last way after the sun's risen. I saw a different side to the sunshine isle when I circumnavigated the island on a paddleboard alongside three friends.

It wasn't a world record attempt, it was an adventure for its own sake. A friend had just returned from SUPing the Amazon and needed a little adventure to stave off reality's bump.

I was surprised by how beautiful and in many places, untouched, the island was. People often think lairy clubbers when they think of Ibiza, however the island has many more dimensions and is very unspoilt away from the tourist areas.

The circumnavigation took 7 days in total. During the evenings we slept in caves or on beaches, drinking whiskey around a fire a resting hard for another day's paddle. It's likely I'm naked in the picture above - can you see?
